Paw Prints is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the population of homeless cats, kittens, dogs and puppies through foster care, medical treatment and adoption into forever homes. We receive no government funding and greatly appreciate tax-deductible contributions from animal lovers like you. Paw Prints makes a lifetime commitment to every animal that we rescue. We never want these animals to be homeless again.
Financial information about this organization and a copy of its license are available from the North Carolina State Solicitation Licensing Branch at 919-807-2214. The license is not an endorsement by the State.
Lightening was given her name because as a tiny kitten, she was super fast and hard to catch. However, she has gained confidence since that time and now seeks out her human. She loves to play and romp with her foster mates and is just a well-rounded, sweet kitten. Her fur just shines and is very soft. She is a solid back kitty (we prefer “panther"). Every home should have a panther kitten, and Lightening or Lightening Bug would be the “purrfect” choice. If you would like to submit an application on Lightening Bug or any other Paw Prints kitty, click here.
Sugar Plum and her brother, Rudy, were born to a feral mother. Sugar Plum was a little faster to trust than her brother. She realized pretty quickly that having her fur stroked felt pretty good! She is affectionate and playful after an initial "getting to know you" period. And nothing beats a good feather toy! They are typical siblings—one minute they're curled up together loving each other and the next minute they sound like they are trying to do serious damage to each other. If you would like to submit an application on Sugar Plum (and how about her brother?) or any other Paw Prints kitty, click here.
